I am an accomplished IT professional with 25+ years of experience and technical acumen. I started my technology career in 1991 and received my technical education through numerous technology and computer programming courses at various institutions over the years. I continue to advance my technical education and training today through accredited and non-accredited online courses on a variety of technologies and disciplines.
Early in my career, I worked for the State of Connecticut Military Department as an Office Automation Systems Specialist. By the late ’90s, I transitioned over to systems development and worked on short and long-term projects as an independent contractor at Aetna, Travelers, and Lincoln Financial Group. Throughout my career, I have held the positions of Systems Developer, Technical Support Engineer, Systems Deployment & Integration Specialist, Desktop Support Technician, Office Automation Systems Specialist, and Computer Repair Technician.
Today, through my IT consulting practice, JRF Consulting, LLC, I am a Technology Solutions & Support Consultant serving the technology needs of small to midsize businesses on an as-needed basis and as a project-based independent contractor. I specialize in troubleshooting and supporting computers and computer networks, end-user support and training, and website development and maintenance.

Computer Training to Improve Employee Efficiency and Productivity
Computer illiteracy is a serious handicap and affects employee efficiency and productivity, and negatively impacts business competitiveness. I conduct full-day, half-day, and evening computer training classes onsite at client locations. My computer training classes can be customized and personalized for a single employee or a group of employees and tailored to address specific employee training needs.
